Bruce Boyer on Bullseye with Jesse Thorn

Jesse Thorn has been doing great things over at Put This On for years now. In addition to providing wonderful content for that site, he does interviews for his radio-show/podcast with a wide range of interesting people. Most recently he sat down to talk men's style with G. Bruce Boyer, who's can always be counted on to provide insightful commentary on how to dress like a grown man. Here's a link to the audio- the segment with Bruce begins at the 36'30" mark of the show:

  1. Apart from erroneously describing Mr Boyer as a fashion writer, a few of Mr Thorn's interview questions are patently bizarre.

For example he asks Mr Boyer something along the lines of "What's a simple way for the average guy upgrade his style?" No-brainer answer that Mr Boyer understandably may be tired of repeating: buy a navy blazer.

Mr Thorn may as well have asked Fred Astaire how to do the Charleston. A missed opportunity to receive wisdom, wit & anecdotes from The Greatest Style Writer Alive.
